Here’s a sneak peek at some of the fun in store for those who are registered for our sold-out event in California.
Our most exclusive Alumaevent ever, Alumafandango 2016 is limited to 100 trailers and the entire campground at Jackson Rancheria RV Park has been reserved for our Airstreams only. There’s something special planned for everyone!
Artists and art lovers, you’ll have the opportunity to take a plein air painting class—no prior painting experience required—and everyone will produce a finished work of art to take home. At the block carving and printing class you’ll create your own original greeting cards. And photographers will take away tips on how to shoot great photos of pets.
Foodies and wine enthusiasts will enjoy “vine to wine” tours at Shenandoah Valley’s premier winery (with an evening dinner concert on their private deck), catered meals, a cooking demo, and our first-ever “So Good It Will Kill You” contest. Bring your favorite decadent appetizer and compete for prizes. (Mmm…Luther burgers.)
History buffs, you’ll love Jackson. The town has a significant mining history and is home to the famous Kennedy Gold Mine that you’ll get to tour. There are also several well preserved Civil War-era buildings to explore.
We’ve scheduled plenty of Airstream workshops, too: hands-on practice sessions featuring propane handling, PEX plumbing, and fire safety.
Attendees, watch for your Get Ready Guide to arrive in late August! It includes important information including how to get to Jackson Rancheria and what to bring to participate in all the special activities. See you in California!
